  • Eileen Doolan

    Semi-Arid

    Eileen was born in Petaluma, California, and grew up in Apex, North Carolina. She received a B.S. in Agricultural Studies with two minors in Animal Sciences and Horticulture Science from North Carolina State University. She loves relating agriculture to health and nutrition, and enjoys staying active at the farm, with animals, or being by the ocean. She desires to serve overseas after ECHO, or start a sustainable ministry for trafficking survivors and veterans with PTSD to share the powerful healing of the Gospel.

  • Erin Hawley

    Monsoon

    Erin was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and has spent most of her life in Eagle River, Alaska, and Hollister, Missouri. She attended the College of the Ozarks, where she received her B.A. in Agricultural Development & Horticulture. In her free time, Erin enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing and ultimate frisbee, or woodburning art, drawing, and painting. She desires to glorify the Lord wherever He leads through community development.

  • Jared Bond

    Urban Garden

    Jared grew up in Bloomfield, Indiana. He attended the University of Southern Indiana for college, receiving his B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in biology. He is passionate about performing research and growing a wide variety of plants, as well as exploring better ways to steward creation. Jared hopes to learn where the Lord is leading him to serve and what that will look like in his future.

  • Justin Lack

    Rain Forest

    Justin is from Sacramento, California, and received his B.S.  in Environmental Earth & Soil Sciences from California Polytechnic State University and San Luis Obispo. He has a passion for college ministry and completed work with a Christian study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador where he was for the past two years. Justin is looking forward to learning more about agroecology and hopes to eventually live in Latin America

  • Krista Anderson

    Peri-Urban Garden

    Krista was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and received her B.S. in Civil Engineering with an environmental concentration from LeTourneau University. This past spring break, she led a mission trip to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and felt led into agricultural missions throughout college. Krista hopes to share the love and joy of God with others in any way possible.

  • Lauren Kachel

    Community Garden 

    Lauren was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania but grew up in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. She received her B.S in Agricultural & Extension Education with a minor in Horticulture from Penn State University. Lauren has a passion for sustainable agriculture and helping others to farm sustainably and to know God. She is excited to learn about agriculture in a sustainable, tropical context and meet with a diverse community of agriculturalists. 

  • Leah Phillips

    Tropical Lowlands

    Leah was born in Asheville, North Carolina, but grew up in Weaverville, North Carolina. She received her B.A. in Economics and Community Development with a minor in Art History from Covenant College. Leah is interested in developing more effective, sustainable, and respectful ways of helping people living in poverty around the world in regard to food production. She desires to help people around her and tell them about Jesus wherever she and Seth go.
